Interventions of "profiloplasty" associate several surgical procedures, to correct a non harmonious profile.

Rhinoplasty is made in a classic way, but some other gestures are associated:

  • otoplasty, if ears are asymetrics or stitched out.
  • Genioplasty,if a receding chin exists.

Interventions of genioplasty are mostly motivated by the existence of a receding chin; and consist in placing in front of the chin's bone an implant ( silicone implant or Goretex's ® implant), through a vestibular incision without any visible scar (bone, silicone implant or Goretex's ® implant).

On the contrary, genioplsaty can consist in putting off a too prominent chin, by decreasing the reliefs of the osseous massif.

The durations of hospitalization of profiloplasties and rhinoplasties are superposable.
