Nasal anatomy is complex and includes:

  • Nasal bones at the upper part of nasal pyramid.
  • Septal cartilage, lateral cartilages and crus.
  • Recovering skin, thin at the tip.
  • Nasal mucosa

Ideal nose doesn't exist! Harmony criterias are different along centuries and countries. Some artists, as Vinci or Dürer, have studied and classified noses. These studies can be useful, but nothing can replace the communication between patient and surgeon, before decision of changment.

The more common corrections are:

- Removing of a hump.
- Pulling up of the tip
- Pulling back of the tip.
- Narrowing of upper part of nose
- Narrowing of nasal orifices

For each nose, a different intervention must be performed. Rhinoplasty needs a perfect planification.
